Moving glazing line within a window frame, please help?!

I have long struggled with various window objects to do what seems to be a simple thing, move the glazing line from the default middle of the frame location to closer to the edge of a fixed pane. I've tried the standard library, Encina's modular joinery and Cadimage's windows and haven't found a parameter that changes this. I've resorted to overlapping to objects and drawing the line in 2D to simulate the result, see attached (original line still visible centered in grey).

Will I have to learn how to make my own GDL object

Or would anyone have an alternative solution to modeling window joinery combinations like this...
