Does AC 17 library have any boulders in it?
I looked for quite a bit tonight and couldn't find any.
I have some boulders that I used on an older project years ago, but I don't trust them.
I know that sounds strange, but I actually saw them move around (shift position) after doing some operation maybe zooming in or changing some layers, can't remember exactly.
If AC17 doesn't have boulders does anyone know of any that I can get
that are reliable library parts?

What about if you search for "random" on BIMcomponents.com.
There are two objects that may match for your requirement.

I'm going to try a search for "Random" AND "Roof Vent" and see what I come up with. :- D

This is an old thread, but I thought it'd be handy to add a link to a blog post and video I did on this topic recently:
http://www.shoegnome.com/2015/02/02/an-introduction-to-modeling-rocks-and-boulders-in-archicad/
Pulling in Objects from SketchUp or other file types (maybe via modelport: http://www.shoegnome.com/2015/03/05/modelport/) is another way to go. You might still need to morph them and tweak em, but there are tons of options out there now.
I guess with 19+ you could do some rock point clouds.
