New Object 3DMD Polyline Fence

Hi
I'm working on a new object I will share with you on Archicad BimComponents. I share here it in the first beta version, so we can try to find some bags or improvements.

The object fence is really only a simple version of a main object most complex. The logic in which the main object works is to generate a 3d editable poly line, base to generate more complex or simple tubes along it, in which I can distribute more simple or complex posts.

I'll will use the main complex object to create single simple objects.

Give me any suggestion and request of any object based on this logic. I will be happy to try to create your personal request.

I would have you name it I cannot get a translation for your naming
I would probably call it complete foundation system or something like that
but "Eigener Polygonzug" would not translate for me.

"own polygonal train"… but it doesn't make sense when translated literally.

this looks and works very good!
I haven't spot any bugs so far,the different elevations work very good!
If I may make another suggestion, is maybe you could add a "slanted wall" feature.
And by the way, I really think that you guys should get a call from Graphisoft 😉

I think that mariosmic develops this advanced things for selling them. They are worth a certain price and you should contact him for further information.


My objects are meant more for spreading ideas to graphisoft and to You as costumers to initiate possible new functions direct for Archicad-implemented tools.

I do this like crossword-puzzles and if someone likes them - so go along with it! If You want to pay me for something like my last object - send Your money! But i till now i keep my objects "open" and so i have no real responsibility for real work.

Feel free to go on developing my parts by your own worktime some steps further - and send them do me that i can look whats going on with them.

Its real work to make so sophisticated objects like mariosmic's and someone who does this in that deepness should be able to live from it.

The objects I'm sharing on this forum are free or funtion limited.
Wheh they'll be without bags I'll also share them on BIM Components.

PS: I'm thinking the kind of limited functions, to give however the possibilities to everybody, using the morph tool, to have the complete object.

This is a version of an object I'll share with funtions limited.
But you be able, simply modifing it with morph tools, to have the complete object.

Is there any chance we could have this object reference the custom profile library, it would be a killer object if we could define our own profiles

I don't think I can read profile archicad library from an object. I'm However planning to create an object with possibilities to create custom profile.
Sorry, it needs a lot of time to work on this kind of objects and both create a friendly interface.
