New Object 3DMD Polyline Pathway

Mario Sacco
Expert
I made this new object, based on the same macro used for 3DMD Polyline Fence.
http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=232856#232856

A 3d editable poly-line. The texture follow the path.
It's in beta test. I'm still working on many bags and enhancements.
Let me know if you have questions.
I hope it will useful for your works.

As soon as I can I'll publish also the new update with the possibility to do any kind of crossing and branches, using more than one internal solid subtraction; so you'll be able to have a realistic 2d projection.

Mario, this object just keeps getting more and more awesome.
I check the video and am I right in assuming that you use the Gravity function when placing new nodes for the object so when a new pathway node is created it finds the proper surface height of the Mesh it is placed on?

Thank you!
I used not the gravity function but the Snap Surface!

I have problem to upload the object 3DMD Polyline pathway on BIm COmponents. The problem seem to be on finding the macro. I didn't have problem to upload the object 3DMD Polyline Fence that has the same macro with a different name.
The name of the macro called in the object is the same of the macro. The object have no problem in the archicad file. You can find my objects here.

This is the message graphisoft reported me:

The object is locked due the fact I'll use the same macro to create commercial objects. I saw no support on Developer forum about this kind of topic.

Can you help me?

Didn't you get a feedback email from bimcomponents.com or some information about how to solve this issue or something?
I think only GS HQ knows what these messages mean and how to fix them.

I think I solved. I'm waiting the object published. They haven't still send me error message. The error I made was: you must always add space before and after the symbol "<" or ">". Otherwise in the conversion from gdl to xml works fine but from xml to gdl gets the error I described.
It was hard to understand. I used LP_XMLConverter.EXE.
I hope it will be published on monday.

Thank you Laszlo!
