Not sure what I did but it strange!
I created a simple 3D box and save the selection as a library object.No script or GDL complex stuff. I'm not even near that. When I placed it using the library object tool, it will only be placed if I 'stretch' it. This 'stretch' thing is also happening to the rest of objects. Is there a bug or what ?

Watch your geometry method in the info box.
To simply place an object your want the first button (orthagonal).
You probably have one of the others selected.
