Is there a setting that I'm missing to auto update after a script change?
I will add that when I save the new copies of the objects, so far I've saved them all as embedded objects.
Any thoughts?

Just bumping this post as I'm having the same issue - schedules show newly placed instances of the zone object correctly, but editing previously placed instances means I have to open the settings dialogue and close it again to get the schedule to read the updated value.
(Incidentally I'm in AC15 for this one)
Does anyone have any solutions?
Thanks.

are these only for your self created objects? maybe post a file with or the objects to be looked at?

Came across a similar issue in a bunch of custom door objects I'd made.
Solved it by introducing a common 'dummy' parameter.
In this case it was a switch (boolean on/off) called 'update'.
Selected all the relevant objects, hit the switch - without altering any of their custom settings and the schedule updated fine.
Basically tricks archicad into reloading their parameters because something has changed.
goodluck
