If no one else has maybe you should report it to your local reseller.

After selecting the custom door pieces you created,
If you are in the plan view,
File>Libaries and Objects>Save Selections As>New Library Part.
Subtype Hierarchy>Model Element>Custom Compenent Template>Custom Door Leaf
Do NOTuse Custom Component Collections>Door Panel Collections

The type of Custom Components you can save will depend on the loaded libraries. So you need to load that library for the options to appear.
For example, under Windows, the C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 13 INT\ArchiCAD Library 13\Custom Object Macros 13 is the place that contains the subtypes defining the types of Custom Components that can be saved. This has to be loaded for them to appear as options - of course they do if you just simply load the ArchiCAD 13 Library.
