Everything had been working fine, but then one day when I went into 3D mode, I got the following messages:
Warning! Group operation error at line 879 in the 3D script of file wa_trim_us.gsm
followed by
Warning! Library part was not converted properly (W01)
I determined that the library parts were the windows, because they weren't modeled correctly, and once I deleted them the errors stopped.
However, when I create a new file, place a window in a wall, I can look at the 3D model with no problem.
But now, an even more annoying problem is, I can't get the model to show up in 3D perspective at all. It will open the window, but it's completely blank. I've tried orbiting around and flying around to no avail. And I also tried setting up cameras in the perspective settings but nothing has worked..
I have no idea what's going on but it's getting very frustrating, if someone could help me out I'd be very grateful.

This isn't necessarily a Student Forum issue. Don't be timid. Post in a more appropriate category next time.
This is possibly two unrelated problems at the same time - confusing.
Turn on your error report to see error messages.
To test for flaws in the 3D window, eliminate the possibility that the camera is aimed incorrectly by making a parallel projection of some kind. You'll see everything in the 3D model at once. Then establish a new camera in the plan that you know is correctly aimed. Select that camera and make a view.
Sometimes, the thing gets "Stuck." It thinks there's a model redndered and it is wrong. Close the 3D window and rebuild the model.
