I'm just starting to play with my new ArchiCAD.
Simple question... how do I select a door or window that's in a wall without selecting the wall? I want to delete the door.
Thanks for helping a newbie.

Hi Doug
I'm a newbie too, but I think I maybe able to help you.
Hover the arrow at the intersection of the wall and the sill (not the window or door frame), wait for the tick to appear, left click and the door/window should highlight at the four corners. Then press delete and the wall should appear again.
Control Z to undo!
Hope this helps
All the best

Doors are easier - they have also a hotspot at the top of the door leaf that is usually in empty space and easily selectable.
Good luck

Thanks for quick replies. You two are great!
If I'd read more about cursor cues, I probably would have figured this out myself.
This was partly to see how the forums work. I'd say... very well.
