setting a parameter for ALL objects at once

I’m sure this is a stupid question already answered here but I just can’t find it. Whenever I pick a new object from library – a chair or a sofa it reverts its Fill Pen colour back to pen 19. Is there an easy way to set this or any other parameter for all object to a preferred default value?

That's been on the wishlist for as long as I've used Archicad. It would be REALLY nice!
