tryin to create new object - options grayed out

when trying to save my new custom object the "save object" window comes up but i cannot select the options button to turn on "remove redundant linesd from symbol""......whats wrong or whats up with that???

Please add a signature via the text "Profile" link near the top right of this page which contains your AC version and machine specs.

The answer to this particular question depends on what version you are running and if you were in the 2D or 3D window...
