1st Time AC26 Required An Internet Connection In Order To Run.

Hi there, today I went to run AC26 and for the first time it required me to be connected to the internet in order to do so. I have been able before today to run AC without being connected to internet first. Does anyone know the reason why this happens and is it a security measure ?

Probably a security upgrade in a move towards eliminating illegal or duplicate copies and maximising income. It's difficult to object to the intrusion unless it becomes disruptive to your workflow.

Grab what they can while they can, before AI processes render manual or semi manual 3d modelling and Bim into oblivion. Sounds fair enough.

The not closing properly issue of AC24 on Mac was and still is annoying to me. I am ok with a security check here and there but I wouldn’t be if every time I fired up AC, I had to connect to the internet.
