I’ve been an Archicad client for about five years, and I’m genuinely confused about the current direction of Graphisoft’s licensing and purchasing experience.
The Graphisoft website and Archicad shop are extremely difficult to navigate. It’s unclear why purchasing a single product requires so many steps, and basic options are not clearly presented. On top of that, the Solo license has been discontinued and replaced by Studio, which in practice doesn’t materially change my needs as a solo designer.
Here’s the issue I’m currently stuck with:
• My Solo license expired
• My goal is to purchase Archicad Studio on a monthly basis - When I try to do this through the shop, I’m redirected to Archicad Collaborate, and the system indicates that a monthly Studio subscription isn’t available
• Fine, if you are pushing me to purchase Archicad 29 collaborate, I inquire about trial - but I’ve now been waiting over a week with no response
So at the moment:
I can’t purchase the monthly Studio license that is advertised
I can’t access a trial to evaluate the new version
There is no clear guidance on how a solo user is expected to transition
I’ve contacted my sales representative in California. While the initial sales communication was fine, follow-up support has been minimal, and responses have essentially been “help yourself,” which is frustrating given the complexity of the changes and the costs associated.
Can someone clarify:
Is monthly Archicad Studio actually available?
Why are trial requests taking so long?
Any clarification from Graphisoft or other users who’ve navigated this successfully would be appreciated.

Any ETA on when it will be back to normal? It's been down since last january, and we can't expand the team with collaborate licences. We had to buy separate key to make it somehow work, but not being able to collectively work on a single teamwork file is a pain.
