Error Message when opening Student Version of Archicad/MEP

I have download the archicad 12 student addition for my brother in law, along with the MEP and Eco packages.

However, when we open Archicad 12, as the software is opening, but before the dialog box stating that it is the student package, an error message shows up stating:

Archicad (2675 USA FULL) and MEP Modeler (2327 USA FULL) are not compatible.

MEP Modeler add on functions will not available.

When I open archicad, the MEP Modeler functions are not available.

Any help is appreciated.
