Have you read licence agreement with Graphisoft? So you will not be surprised by their self invitation. How long is this unbelievable audacity with search warrant in license agreement?
Excerpt from License Agreement:
7. Audit. You hereby agree that - in addition to any other license compliance checking set forth in this Agreement or elsewhere - Graphisoft has the right to carry out remote, electronic audit and/or physical audit by visiting You at the premises where You use the Software upon seven (7) days prior written notice in order to check Your records, systems, facilities to verify that Your use of the Software is fully in line with the provisions of this Agreement and with the applicable rules of law. Graphisoft may also appoint a third party to exercise its audit rights. You hereby agree to fully cooperate with Graphisoft in order to successfully perform the audit among others by providing Graphisoft with all requested information and documents. You also ensure to bring your use of the software in line with this Agreement (including but not limited to due payment of the applicable fees, acceptance of license terms, etc.) as contained in the result of the audit. In case of any non-compliances revealed by the audit related to your use of the software You shall reimburse the fees to Graphisoft arising from the performance of the audit at Graphisoft.

Because it is written down in the License Agreement and accepted during installation doesn’t mean that this paragraph is legal.

You agreed. If you don't complain, GS will deactivate your licenses and take you to the Hungarian court. You also agreed to that.

That would be your local court, not the Hungarian one, unless that is your local court. I feel like the EU would have a field day if that did happen though. Also, the reimbursement is only in the case using pirated software.

Legal action taken against CAD/BIM software vendors for not keeping perpetual licenses fully perpetual and upgradable is very likely to occur. Even a class action against these very greedy companies who want far too much money for hardly any new features.
These companies want to lay down the law with the consumers of the software and now the consumers wants protection from greedy exploitation.
That is all part and parcel of being in big business as we all know. If you deal fairly with your customers they will stay on and if not they will go elsewhere for business, no matter what they are selling them.
Live by principle and not just law if you want people to be loyal to your company.

EU help.. that is not legal.. so why all this is in license agreement of billion dollar company? It will be their $$$ lawyers against yours. You do not have to pirate software. You gave them rights to check your property and records to ensure them that you do not pirate archicad. Their suspision is sufficient for this procedure.

Field day over perpetual licence deactivation, which would lead to class actions, not the audit. Though the Autodesk one did not really work out, but that was in the US court... One reason to have a hardware licence over a software one.

It would really be a funny moment, being at the beach with a laptop, with Archicad 28 installed, drinking my coctail and having a
couple of Graphisoft's Men in Black, checking whether my codemeter is installed.
Can't wait.....

We got audited once back in the AC13 or 14 days. Wonder how much it costs them.

You comply or paragraph will be applied 4.1.1.2. The Commercial Mode is limited in time as determined by Graphisoft. They just switch your licence off.

If they found any license violations, it didn't cost them anything, the user pays. (In case of any non-compliances revealed by the audit related to your use of the software You shall reimburse the fees to Graphisoft arising from the performance of the audit at Graphisoft.) And violate EULA is pretty simple, they are deliberately written so, look at autodesk.
