3D view not showing up, and not enough memory to render?

I'm having problems with AC10 in the general perspective view. The general axonometry view works fine, but all of a sudden the perspective view will just show solid white. Then, when I try to render the scene from the pers. view it says not enough memory. All of my renders are from axon view. Anyone know what is going on here? I'm using the Macbook with 1gig of ram, and a 2gig processor with AC10 education version. The home is a two story contemporary log home thats about 1500 feet.

You can only estimate a model's size in polygons - physical model size is irrelevant. What does your polycounter goodie say?

But nevermind that - I expect that you have a corrupted element in the model somewhere. Use a method to isolate the object's layer by turning off half the layers and seeing what happens.....

To e certain that the 3D view works, place a camera with a plausible viewpoint using the camera tool, select it and THEN ask for a 3D view.

OK, I turned off certain layers trying to isolate the bad element and when I turn layers off > then scrol my mouse over where the model should be > I get the little window that pops up and tells me what item my pointer is hovering over....well it always tells me the same thing. It says I'm hovering over a wall, but the wall layers are turned off, and I still can't see anything only in that particular view. The model renders fine from anox view.

Did you re-aim the camera like i suggested?

Yes I did. It didn't make a difference.
