ABILITY TO DRAG A COPY OR MULTIPLE COPIES IN ELEVATIONS & SE

Good day everyone i am an architect and an archicad user for the past 6years, i would like to get feed back on the above topic as i think it is something quite necessary as far as working in archicad is concerned, i think having the option of dragging copies of elements, be it walls, objects, doors and windows etc, and if possible creating objects directly in elevation and section would go a long way to improve the flexibility and precision of our beloved software, i really wish this option could be made available in the upcoming archicad 16.

Well, this certainly won't be a possibility for 16 since it is a done deal at this point. There is an add on that I believe can do this, although I do not use it. Look here Simple Addon. It looks interesting.

You can drag a copy of a door or window, as long as the wall you are copying to is in the same plane as the host wall (or if it is within the same wall as the original).
