AC14-Hotlinks and SEOs

Anonymous
Not applicable
yet another 14 bug - or another backward step?

In AC13 we have a site plan referencing multiple buildings. One of the buildings (by necessity) has different story settings to the others. Workaround employed was to hotlink in each story separately (for that building), adjust to correct levels and then use SEOs to trim walls to roofs etc.

Roll on AC14. Seems you cannot trim hot-linked elements to other hot-linked elements.

Anyone else experienced this?

What happens when you follow the directions and unlock the target element(s)?

I have just checked out your suggestion Erika and alas it does not work.
i.e. tried to unlock elements - no effect - still same error message
also checked all layers unlocked etc.

I would be very happy to stand corrected, but at this stage it appears we have taken a step backwards....😞

Is the layer the module resided on locked?
Is grouping enabled or suspended?

Grouping is suspended, and the elements are not locked in the original file.
Beats me.
