AC21 Railing 2D display

Anonymous
Not applicable
I've created a staircase and applied an associated railing. All great I've then associated an extension of the railing to a floor slab. All great.

However, the floor display doesn't pick up that the extended part of the railing is at the first floor and keeps showing this segment as not existing on the first floor but visible on the ground floor.

Changing the railing floor plan view to not be with associated with the stairs then makes the segments with the stair dashed.

I've tried various options but still have the same issue. Did anyone find a workaround/ solution?

this is my problem.
I struggled with it for around one hour without success.
How to do it?

Try these settings:

The first example shows railing until break mark on the GF

The second example displays railing dashed above break mark - because railing on stairs and slab is one object it will always show them together

If that is not solving your issues would be more helpful if you could send file
