i want the use the seo tool to make the ceiling below slop rather than staggered like it is now but i want to keep the fillets to give the impression that the ceiling and wall are one element. is there a way to do this.

OK. I used OBJECTiVE to draw that (an ArchiCAD add-on). Referring to the attached image:
  • 1. Draw a cross-section through floor/roof/wall with the fill tool. I drew two separate profiles for the first series of images because I thought the floor had to be stepped. If the whole thing is rising, it may as well be a single section. Create a profiled section from the fill using OBJECTiVE > Component > New Profile

    2. Place an instance of the new object between the ramp extents

    3. Use OBJECTiVE > Tools > Bend to bend the profile to the wall radius

    4. Set the ramp overall rise in the object settings (or use OBJECTiVE > Tools > Offset in elevation)

    5. Use OBJECTiVE > Tools > Split to cut the ends to the vertical (if necessary)

    6. The finished result in 2D...

    7. ...and in 3D.
