Why the trial versions of ArchiCAD are so complicated ? Why the license activation code process is so long for some users ? Why Graphisoft doesn't want to simplify the life of its customers ?

The license activation code of a software should be the easiest step to cross as customers of an appropriate company... However, it appears to be the most complicated process at Graphisoft. I can't believe that !

According to me, ArchiCAD 17 is the release which can really compete with Revit and Sketchup in speed. That's why, I request authorities of Graphisoft to do the necessary to activate the keyplug of each concerned user...

Dear Mr. Jules,
You should contact the dealer you purchased ArchiCAD from. That is the proper way of doing it. They should make sure that you get your upgrade and handle any difficulty. That is what dealers are for. They sold you the program, they should be taking care of your problems and issues. They will contact Graphisoft in case they need to be involved in this situation. Graphisoft is the developer of the program and its distributor and reseller network is what is dealing with the daily issues of users.
I also need to ask you to stop you spam-like behavior. It is enough to post something once. It is very annoying for users when someone posts on the same topic repeatedly.

Same here. It seems very snappy.

Getting used to building materials has been trickier than I thought. Using a program for a certain way for 12 years, you develop certain habits. Didn't help that when I imported my work environment from AC16, it didn't display "Building Materials" on the elements attribute menu. (let that be a caution for those who can't find the building materials option."

I can really see how much I'm going to love the building materials once I get used to it. It's much more logical.

My favorite improvement so far: core-based reference lines. Again, very logical.
