I'm guessing a low score is good?
Yup. I took the test declined to publish the result, and suggested everyone else in our firm take it so we can evaluate them.

Then I take the best score aside and ask them how they cheated! Knowing the answers IMHO has less value than being able to actually use the software in a productive way, and I am not convinced the two are commensurate.

When I took the test I got to question #38, answered it and clicked on next and the test hung up. After clicking the next button about half a dozen time (each time getting a warning panel in safari) question #45 aperared. Did anyone else have that problem?

Given that the average of published test results is ~62%, does this mean:

a. Most people are cr*p at ArchiCAD
b. ArchiCAD is too hard and complicated to learn
c. The test questions were poorly worded
d. Too many of the questions were in the 'Who cares' category

And why can you only score well if you know what's new in AC9? Can't a person be competent - expert even - at using ArchiCAD without any knowledge of what tools are new?

I think most of the questions in the test focus on AC 9 since that was the latest available release at the time. So obviosly anyone not working or being very familiar with AC 9 will not be able to score high on it.

My point is that questions like:

What tool is new in ArchiCAD 9? or
Which of the following options wasn't available before release 9?

don't really demonstrate whether a person is competent in its use.

Don't forget, that many people who use localized versions of AC also took the test (like me) and for them it's really hard to understand those terms in different terminology especially in different language...
