Dear All,

Yesterday we have made available the latest Preview versions of Archicad 23 Update 7000 and Archicad 24 Update 5000. We have created and tested packages for the INT, AUS, NZE, UKI, USA, GER & AUT language versions.

The Preview Update is only available for the above language versions. If you attempt to install it on a different language version, you will get an error message about this.
We will create Public Update packages for all languages in the upcoming weeks. It will be possible to update from the Preview package to the Public one without a problem.

You can read the Release Notes and download the packages from here.

Should you have any questions or feedback, please let us know!

Best regards,
Minh

The Mac OS was the first home to ArchiCAD. Hope tools like PARAM-O are always released at the same time as their Windows based versions, not after.
I think two things are becoming certain. The Mac is now a secondary platform for Graphisoft R&D; and small firms will be left in the dust in regards to new features, as they now are large firm focused with BIMcloud, BIMcloud supported features, and features like MEP. The only thing small, Mac user firms got from AC24 was Dark Mode.

Thank you all.
If I create objects with Param-O, I assume they will be embedded or able to be saved externally and loaded like any library, hence available for other users who have not installed the latest build 5000 for AC24. Am I correct?
I just updated the Mac OS version for the latest build. There is still no PARAM-O listed in the Add-ons. What is the process for getting this installed? Karl, your link was for UKI language. What about US?

On UKI the Param-O access is (on the Mac) located under the top menu FILES > LIBRARIES & OBJECTS >... I assume the same for US / INT.

It is NOT an add-on.
Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)
It's not there on mine.

Hey Rex,

I did the UKI link since the poster asked about UKI. Just select US from the dropdown that shows UKI or whatever...all language versions are there.

I'm guessing you might have customized your WE menu structure and may have to add the PARAM-O commands back in? Assuming you verify that you are indeed running the new build.

Cheers.

I'm using default menus in the WE settings. Will install again and check out...

Thank you Rex. Please share your findings.
I'm going to install the AUS, not sure anyone has tested the update.

AC24 5000 UKI FULL: Just went to save a .PLA from a file the same way as I have for other projects at key stages and received the attached warning. Never seen this before. The Library Manager shows no errors in either the source file or the opened .PLA file.

[Seem to have hit the image attachment issue.] Image reads...
"Warning! Cannot find some Library Parts or Internal Macros. These will not be included in the Archive."

Just checking in... if you go to Options > Add-On Manager and select PARAM-O, you should see the MacOS bundle in the Standard add-ons folder and its interface location. If you don't see PARAM-O listed at all, then somehow the build 5000 update of AC 24 didn't get applied...
