Autorebuild Settings

Anonymous
Not applicable
Under project preferences - miscellaneous - there's an option to select/deselect "update autorebuild model section/elevation views continuously"

What does this do??

Thanks!

IN ArchiCAD Help:

User Interface Reference : Dialog Boxes : Project Preferences Dialog Boxes : Miscellaneous Project Preferences:
It says:

Update Autorebuild Models continuously
If this box is checked, Sections/Elevations/Interior Elevations of Auto-rebuild Model type will always be in updated condition. However, in large projects this may cause slowdowns. In this case, try unchecking this box to avoid constant rebuilds. Auto-Rebuild Models will then be updated only when such a window is opened or brought to the front of the screen.

Normally, when you have an autorebuild Section/Elevation/Interior Elevation, it rebuild every time you open its Window.
I think if this checkbox is checked, it will also update it after every operation you perform in its Window. So it is an additional step of keeping it always showing the latest state.
