Beam Cross-hair

gdford

Beam Cross-Hairs seem to not be working correctly in V25.

Has something changed?

Check your MVO settings. There is a global control for cross-hairs (Symbol).

Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)

Can you show a comparison with what you used to see? I thought cross hairs were for columns and axis lines on beams?

Sorry - I meant columns.

However i wish beams had this feature.

When i place a new rectangular column with no segments in V25 I can go through the crosshair choices and I see the choice displayed in the settings, but when i view the column in plan there are no crosshairs or I only see part of the crosshair as if the fill (or whatever it is that creates the crosshair) is misaligned. I use this feature all the time, but this may be the first time I have tried it in V25.

Ok - New information.

If I open a new instance of V25 and place a column then the cross-hair works as expected. If i copy the column and place it into the project i am working on the cross-hairs are not there. This is not a pen table problem.
