You would NEVER model metal mesh.
This is usually simulated with a vector grid fill for analytical views, a bitmap image for OpenGL and a LightWorks shader for LightWorks rendering.
Resize the 4x4" grid fill and save as.... for your new mesh. Be sure to use vector fills view method to see it.
For OpenGL, find an image or draw one in Photoshop with alpha masking for the mesh voids, and for LightWorks, use the LightWorks shader : Transparency>Wrapped Grid.
You can also make this mesh in LightWorks, render it on a flat, evenly lit surface and capture the image to use as your texture map for OpenGL.
Do you have photoshop to create the alpha mask for transparency?

I need to see mesh in elevations and sections(Section/Elevation tool) and in 3D. It is for documentations purpose.
Thanks.
Thanks.

So this means that you'll be using the modified vector grid fill pattern then?

I'd assume it would need to be over 51% transparent in the internal engine settings as well as having an surface fill, otherwise the grid will be opaque in elevation.
Also I'm not sure you will see the effect of alpha masks in OpenGL mode? I think it comes out as solid. You will only see the proper effect when you render.
