Could anyone enlighten me how to change black lines to show white on a black background please?

Use white lines: Pen 91 in most systems.

But sometimes your pen sets for a layout will differ.

Changing the line colour to 91 isn't a problem. The main problem is when I xref a file with black lines in it that don't show at all in the 2D window. When I select the xref, the outline appears, but is invisible.

I the XREF attachment translation settings, you can convert the imported black lines to a visible color.

I take it this also applies to opening DWG files direct in AC?

In addition, you might get this dialog box when opening the DWG file.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I'm on it, Thanks!

As for the dialog box, it doesn't come up anymore since user selected not to show dialog box again....any guesses on how to get it back?
