Here's an example of what I wanna make in Archicad. I made these glass panes and chrome poles in 3ds Max. The question is - is there a quick way of doing this not by hand? Thanks in advance!

not as a single object, but I see a slab floor, a column for the post, and two walls, one for the glass and a profiled wall for the round tube railing.

Or cylinder and elbow objects for the railing, if you want to make it even more basic-user friendly.

It's a little much to describe here. Your User Manual should explain it in depth. The short version is that you draw what you want in section using fills in the Profile Manager, then extrude them along a path using the Wall Tool.
