I can't select walls, windows, doors and other objects once I've placed them in the plan. This obviously makes it quite difficult and frustrating to maneuver things into place or edit anything. I'm using ArchiCAD 16, have been for a few months now, and this problem began a few days ago. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Check that you don't have "Grid Snap" on.

The problem still persists even though Grid Snap is turned off. I used to be able to place my cursor over the thing I wanted to select and it would highlight itself in blue before I clicked on it. That no longer happens. I can only select certain things like terrain, floor slabs and ceilings and then only if I click each of them right at their edges. Doors, walls, and windows remain un-selectable.

Check if the Pick Magnet is on, with the arrow tool selected it is the magnet icon. The toggle to turn on/off is to press the spacebar while selecting stuff.

That'll do it. Thank you for helping me to figure that out.
