License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Change/apply different profiles for interior trim

New to ArchiCad.

How do you change / apply different style trim to doors, windows, base, crown and such.

Do a lot of remodel projects and need to show these details in 3D for presentations to clients.

Complex profiles are the solution to creating different shaped trims.

Use the beam tool with a profile assigned to create horizontal trims, or the column tool to create vertical trims.

Once you have placed the beam or column you can easily change between different profile without having to remodel anything - just give it a different complex profile.

See the help files for more details, and this article gives some tips too -

Hope that helps.
