Colouring polygons of a mesh.

I wonder if it is possible to color different polygons of a mesh to view in openGL.

one method is to convert the mesh into a morph and change manually the color of each face ...
Depending on the size of the mesh it could be a big job ..

Rather than manually colouring, if you're converting to a morph, you could apply a projected texture onto it with all your colours done externally.

Would be nice if you could project textures onto a mesh...
