I posted this awhile back, but need to revisit it. Our logo is a pict file, I've tried using tiff, jpg, bmp. I just got a call from a contractor that couldn't open my files with an error message "logo.pict missing" from AutoCad and he could not open the files. These were published from Plotmaker.
First, I need to resolve the pict issue. What can I do to ensure that my logo will not either make the files un-openable, or be missing. Can I xref it or something?? It doesn't seem to matter if the photo is a part of the AC project or a Plotmaker drawing, or imported into the PM layout directly.
Help please! I need to resolve this issue immediately!
Also remeber to send the Tif file to the AutoCad users so that they can re-link it. The other problem is the flavor of autocad, if it is R14 it only accepts tif, if R2000-2005 it can accept jpgs and tif, if AutoCAD LITE (any version) I think that the image will not be displayed.

In the Save Options section of the DXF/DWG Translator, there is a checkbox with which you can force the program to save pictures in a format that AutoCAD will understand.
