When switching to a complex profile beam (in 17) I can't set the height that I want to place the beam in the info box.
I have to open the beam settings dialogue and do it there.
Perfectly fine for a standard beam.
I noticed it disappears in 15 & 16 as well - haven't gone back any further but I assume all versions will be the same.
The same complex profile as a wall allows me to set the heght in the info box.
I can't think of a good reason wht the beam tool won't allow it.

Strange. It happened in my copy of AC17 as well.
However, after I did a New & Reset it was working correctly.
I will let GS know about this.
