Composites

I am not sure what you mean, but you can change pen colours for each individual composite object.

Composites, however, are created for global use throughout the model., and are not layer-sensitive.

i'll do it in one word . . . no.

but you can use display option combinations which, when saved with your view, will do what you want . . .

sure, what i mean though is that i would like a composite brick veneer to have hatching on it on one layer, but not on the other. I would like the composite fill to be clear on a different layer.

so in a couple of words, could i make the composite fill layer sensitive?

cheers
Maybe you shall tell us why you want it this way?

BTW, the reason why i wanted it that way is because i wanted to show my bracing in the cavity of the wall on one layer, and i cannot do that with a normal composite
why not? it's done with framing plans. same thing, no? if you bring the bracing to the front of the composite and change the 'cut fills' display option to 'separator lines only' . . . ? will that work?

if not, maybe i haven't fully understood you . . .
