Constraining angles off Perpendicular AND Horizontal

I had a client ask me how he could constrain his mouse at 30 degrees and 45 degrees in every quadrant (like AutoCAD). ArchiCAD, by default will only let you constrain to two angles in each quadrant.

I thought I'd share my answer here.

I suggested skewing his grid to -30 degrees and setting his mouse constraints as shown in the attachment. It may be easier not to keep the grid displayed. I don't think I'd recommend using this method all of the time, as it throws out the angles in the co-ordinate box, but it is handy when you need to model at these angles temporarily.
