License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Contoured site - best way to develop site?

here's the deal.
I have a rectalinear site. basically, 100' Wide X 700' Long.
Along the length of the site, the property drops maybe 3' along the 700' length.

I need to create the site with either a "mesh" or a 'slab' object where I can place contours based off of closed plines.

What is the best way of accomplishing this task?

Yes, use a mesh. If you have a surveyed drawing with splines for contours and/or spot levels, you can:
  • 1. Draw around the perimeter of the site with the mesh tool;
    2. Select the mesh, select the mesh tool, and space-click on the splines to convert them to ridges on the mesh
    3. Also with the mesh and tool selected, click on spot levels and set their height accordingly.
