Copy / Paste troubles

Hi everyone !
I've been looking in the forum to find a solution to my problem but I can't find it so here it is :

I want to copy a module from first floor to 2nd floor but when I go to 2nd floor and hit paste, an empty selection appears. I then click outside of it to try and see if the module is well pasted but I got a message saying that I'm going to modify something on a story that is currently not being seen. I click continue and... nothing.

Actually, every time I try to paste something from floor to floor, it always winds up on the ground floor. Why is that ? Can somebody help me ?

I think this has to do with the modules being already assigned to a certain story. I would try creating a copy,at the same floor and then re-assign its initial story and see if this makes any difference.

Or instead of copying & pasting the module just place a new instance of it where you want.
