I have a big teamwork project me and my team used for a deadline.
Having many people working on it in deadline-mode the file got quite messy.
I decided to redraw the project in a new ARCHICAD project so we can start the next project phase of in a clean way. There is obviously a lot of valuable information in our old model that I would like to copy into our new model. Here's where I run into some troubles.
When pasting elements from the old model into the new blank project these objects show up in red, both in 2D and 3D, even though their parameters don't say anything about showing up in red. It happens with the most ordinary elements such as grid lines, stairs, dimensions, objects, curtain walls, basically anything.
Does anybody know why they show up in red and how I can fix this?
Best,
Vincent

In our new template it was set by default on "01 Existing Situation" while all copied elements were marked as "new".
Thanks a lot for your reply!

Barry wrote:I was a bit too fast on my conclusion. When copy pasting walls they show perfectly fine in 2D but red in 3D. The renovation filter is on "Show all elements" and the texture is a default ARCHICAD one "Paint - Titanium White". Do you have any idea what could cause this issue?
Check that there is nor Graphic Override or Renovation Filter active that is overriding the pen colours.
Barry.
(Side note: I did have a classification system error earlier. But then I exported the classification system from my other project and imported it into my new project and then I didn't get the error anymore so I think that issue is solved.)

If all surfaces of the wall are changing then I would suspect a GO.
Is it just that one material changing or are all materials showing red?
Is it just walls or slabs and roofs with the same material as well?

Because fixing that error, closing the project yesterday and reopening it today somehow solved the issue.
