Creating a complex dome in archicad - help and suggestions?

Hallo everyone, I'll try to be as descriptive as possible so that you can understand my problem... first, I'm only beginning with meshes and morphs, so I may miss a lot of things even though I followed tons of tutorials on youtube.
So, my goal is creating this two domes in AC16:

I'm starting from the "volta a spigolo" since it looks like being the easiest to model but, hey... I'm not managing to create even this 😕
My main problem, I guess, is that I don't know how to create a complex ellipsoid using a mesh. I need it for the upper part of the dome and I'll also have to define its shape in plant. But I have a rectangle based dome, not a square, so it's not easy at all...
Do you have any idead on how would you model something like that in AC16?

VOLTA A SPIGOLO:

I think, he drawing is not correct.
In fact - the cap in real World - is a dome!

In the 3D-Center of the whole construction, You place a nail. If You place stone after stone, You need 2 Sticks. One stick for the radius, another for the tirection of the stone to the center.

For the 4 arcs, You need wooden arcs to lay the stones correctly.

But -
You can build "mirrors" and the cap without any under-construction in wood. So - in fact - the cap is a dome!

That's how it's built, in Italian, sorry

Maybe Google translate can help. I also attach the result I'd like to be able to draw... but I cannot draw it with my abilities I guess.

Hell I did it! My way, but I did it, in the end... that was utterly hard to reach this result but one I know how to do it... it's easy to reproduce.

I really don't get why I can attach only a pic at a time when it's talking about attachments... plural... damn it.

Me, too. Like seeing a dome with a square base. That will be something.
