Openings can only have one material to the inside and outside reveals.

I believe by default it reads the wall surface material at the anchor point of the opening? (not in front of Archicad at the moment).

To get the split material to the reveal you will need to add a very thin column or a morph.

Or possibly a slightly larger opening where you can control the side material, and you would need to control the depth of the opening so it does not also affect the inside reveal.

Or if you are handy with GDL scripting, you could create an opening that allows for split materials, but don't go there if you don't know GDL.

Thank you. Yes thats the way ive been doing it. Thought there was maybe a simpler ''settings'' way to do this.its time consuming with bigger projects. Again thank you very much. Regards

It is 'easy' with GDL, but not so easy if you are using the default Graphisoft windows, as they will no be so easy to modify (and not recommended to do so).

See similar post here with the GDL solution I use.
