Custom Symbol fill

Anonymous
Not applicable
I tried making a custom symbol fill as instructed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCsR3c2Em5E

It worked fine on a different file, however only the hotspots are showing up on this new file. Any idea what I am doing wrong??

I don't know.

There was a post just a couple of weeks ago that brought this problem up as well.

The interesting thing is if you make a symbolic line type and use hotspots, they don't show and just act as a spacer.

Interesting, I will have to track that post down...

I just made a custom line out of the pattern I posted above (4 hot spots, 2 lines), and the hotspots show up there as dots... Maybe I am missing something?

Regardless, thank you so much!

I might be mistaken about the hotspots in the lines.

I just looked at one for "Ridge Tile (side)" and that shows the hotspots in plan.

I could have sworn I had used hotspots in the past and not seen them.
