Deleting Detail Marker

I deleted my detail marker on the plan but the are still showing up in my project map? WHY? WHY? WHY?

Because…Because…Because…

There can be more than one detail marker referred to the same "Detail Drawing". Therefore you have to delete both the marker and the detail in the project map ( right click and select delete).
