Design stair from selection with non-quadratic landing

Hi,

I'm trying to make a stair using Design from selection tool. It is a basic u-shaped stair and I want a landing where the stair turns which shouldn't be quadratic (fits more steps). I've done the stair with slabs and Morph tool but that is not very efficient.

Thankful for any help.

I'm not sure what you mean by non-quadratic. A winder perhaps? A picture would help.

Actually I don't even manage to make a nice surface underneath the winder part with morph tool.

This is the kind of stair I want to create.

That Stairs will be a really hard work for that method:

1. The line of travel MUST consist by LINES, not Polylines!
2. Another point to take care is the number of Line segments for non-rectangular steps

The best result that I got is:
My advise for stairs is always the same. Just model it!

Thanks andro55!

I didn't think about creating winders as treads could work out!

While we are at it. How do you draw the walk line if you want the stair to look like this:

Try making a 4 segments Line off travel.
