Questions:
1. My first option would be to create a straight wall, add stripes of wood and then curve it, but is it possible to easily curve such whole object (wall + stripes of wood) at once? My attempts to do that failed, because I could curve the either the wall or wooden stripes, but not the whole object at once (well, maybe I don't know how to do it, that's why i am asking for help), even when i tried to convert it to morph and intersect stripes with the wall.
2. Another option would be to curve the wall and then place individual stripes of wood, but I would need to place it carefully and measure distances between stripes "by hand" making process very long. Not to mention any future changes to wall curvature would require redoing everything. Or is there a better way to do it?

Creating a curved wall is easy - draw a spline in the shape you want and magic wand a wall to it (using 'best fit' in magic wand options.
This will however create a series of curved walls - not one continuous wall.
Distributing the timber slats along a curve is easy too - use the 'distribute special' tool.
Problem is you can distribute along one curve (section of wall) at a time only and it wont distribute along multiple curves or the spline.
Maybe an add-on like Objective might be the solution - can't say for sure as I have never used it.
But I know it is good for manipulating elements.

It can "relativley" be simple to make things like in your drawing - using SOE-Commands.
To make a simple curved wall - just make a polyline first - then select the wall-tool - press and hold the space-button and klick on the polyline. The orientation of the wall can be alterd later or before.
To get the vertical structure - it needs more knowing about the abilitys Archicads to devide lines and curves - but then its simple also - to put vertical sticks half into the wall and then subtract it form the wall wit an SOE-command. The hole in can easily made by using then morph-tool constructed in a section, drwwan to a 3D-Element in 3d cutting throug the Wall - and then cut out with SOE.
Dont forget to put the SOE-Objects on an extra Layer to turn off - to get the wall with vertival lines and the hole alone.
Dont mention the german language - the video could help You:
