Distance Guides - Door dimension middle marker

Hi, how can I change my default setting for door dimensions (distance from wall) to be set from middle and not from sites?

You can change the Distance Guides settings.

Although it may go to the centre of the door leaf rather than the centre of the overall frame.

I am not sure.

in general, it would be awesome if distance guides were more cognizant of every elements reference point/line. The one that gets me is things like plumbing fixtures. Toilets are 16-18" center to face of finish. But the distance guides only go to the edge of the toilet, which is a reference no one cares about.
in general, I still use the "move it, then move it again" method; its 100x faster than trying to get distance guides or even the tracker origin reset to work.

Not as far as I know.

You have to make the setting change yourself.

But you should be able to setup a keyboard shortcut for it in the Work Environment (I say this without having checked it myself).
