Door marker visibility different in view and layout

As far as I know, this seems like a bug to me. Can others confirm this?

Existing wall, with 3 doors shown. From top to bottom, existing, demo, and new. The new door creates an opening in the existing wall automatically as shown in this demolition plan.

In the VIEW, the opening is shown as just an opening, but in the layout, this view will show the door number as shown.

I can live with either one, but since they are not the same, this must be a bug, right?

Anything to do with the Model View Options being set different between the plan and the layout view?
If you view the plan with the Project map you have to choose the MVO that you want to use.
The view in the View Map will have it's MVO set (make sure it is not "custom").
This view when placed on the layout should appear the same as the view in the view map.

Select the view (drawing) in the layout and right click and choose to "open source view" - this will open the plan with the same MVO settings.
If it appears different then further investigation will be needed.

I am suspecting you are switching from plan view (Project Map) to layout which can be completely different.

Thanks Barry, but yes, it IS a VIEW w/ a saved MVO setting (not custom). It's just that when it's placed on a layout it will suddenly show the marker.

I see your problem now that I have played with it too.
If your new door is set to hide in the demo filter then the marker still shows on the layout.

I see you can control the maker status in the renovation filter options - but only for existing and demo doors.
Seems you can't set it for new doors - I guess that would be the MVO setting.

So yes I think it seems to be a bug that is doesn't show in the view but does on the layout.

The existing and demo doors that you can control in the filter options behave properly - just not the new door.
