Doors and windows not showing

I have doors and windows, they show in all 2D drawings but not in 3D.

Feels like a silly question but I don't know how to get them to show in 3D. Any help?

Check the height of your window. If it is higher than the wall it willl not show.

Thanks for that, but see my screen-shot - the windows are in the correct place/height, I can click on them but I can't see them??

Hmmm, why do you have two selected? They're overlapping. Have you tried deleting one?

Sorry to be a bother...

How do you know I have two selected? I can only see just the one - but I did try deleting it to see if I do indeed have two - but the window disappeared (just became covered up with the wall).

It says so right there in your Info Box (top left corner) - All Selected:2.

And your info tag says it has multiple elements (at the bottom).

It actually stands out like dogs balls when you know what to look for.

Sometimes if you have multiple elements invading the same space, they can cancel each other out.

You may have deleted both at once. Try it again with just one window.

Otherwise it could be a myriad of things: Filter Elements in 3D may have windows unchecked, the part may be corrupt in the 3D Window. etc etc.

Can you open up that window's settings and see it in the 3D preview (top right corner)?

What happens when you alt-click the window and insert a new one next to it, right there in the 3D window?

Cheers,

Had a play around with Filter Elements in 3D - it worked and I can now see the windows.

Learn something new everyday!!

Thank you - much appreciated
