EXTENDED AUTOMATIC DIMENSIONING

Anonymous

BY SETTING A 0.00 mm dimension (in a future hidden layer) WALL AND WITH MAGIC WAND YOU CAN "TOUCH" SLABS, LINES , ROOFS , ( EVEN ELEVATION LINES PASTED IN FLOOR PLAN) AND PUSH THE AUTOMATIC DIMENSIONING TOOL.
AFTER YOU CAN HIDE THIS HIDDEN DIMENSIONING WALL LAYER.

I'm not following your tip. Could you explain it more?
Maybe a step by step approach.

Thanks

ESCUSE MY POOR ENGLISH

BECAUSE ARCHICAD ADDON NAMED AUTOMATIC DIMENSIONING WORK ONLY WITH WALLS I FOUND A TRICK TO EXTEND THIS TOOL PRODUCTIVITY.
I CREATE A LAYER NAMED " DIMENSIONING GHOST WALLS" AND OF COURSE I SET THE WALL TOOL TO
O.OOmm TO ALL DIMENSIONS TO OBTAIN THE ZERO DIMENSION =GHOST WALLS
WITH WALL TOOL ACTIVATED AND SPACEBAR (MAGIC WAND) I CLICK OVER OTHER ELEMENTS (LINES,ROOFS,
SLABS...) OVERLAPING INVISIBLE WALLS .
AFTER THAT I USE AUTOMATIC DIMENSIONING AND I HIDE" DIMENSIONING GHOST WALLS" LAYER
FOR EXAMPLE I USE THIS METHOD FOR QUICK DIMENSIONIG ROOFS CONTOUR
I POSTED THIS MESSAGE HERE BECAUSE THE TRIPS FORUM IS LOCKED
