Edit penset in external text editor

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello, I believe I have seen info about this previously, but I am unable to find an answer to my question:

Basically, I would like to edit pensets in an external editor, rather than Options>Element Attributes>Pens & Colors dialog.

Is there a procedure to import a csv, tsv, or txt file into AC, or any other way of generating an .att file?

I hope the question is clear, I'm on AC14, thank you

I do not know a way to edit a Pen Set with an external editor application as the only file I could locate that I knew contained Pen Sets were "Attribute" (.aat) files exported from the Attribute Manager but the contents of that file were not legible to me (see example below)

ArchiCAD - Attribute Manager File 1.0AttrManHmm∫≤'BfiÛHƱl ô2V?‘˝øΩ¥Lm¥ñ∑l≠g¸¬AMA CAD-TemplateˇòPen1Ä= «?òPen2Ä= «?0u0u0uòPen3–?ˇˇ<fòPen4–?ÉPû˘!òPen5`ff÷? •d√òPen6†ôôŸ?ä?;§ˇˇòPen7ffffff÷?ˇ
You can use the Attribute Manager to share Pen Sets once you have edited them within ArchiCAD.
