Bold marquee doesn't select all storeys

Is there any reason why my AC18 bold marquee does not select all stories and the elements on them when asked to do so? I have an existing 3 storey building which is skewed onto my desktop (it was set out by a surveyor). I want to have at least one wall on the ground floor horizontal to my desktop to assist drafting. Obviously everything has to be adjusted at the same time and to the same degree. I've turned on all layers, set the renovation filter to 'show all', surround my entire building and notes e.t.c.. with a bold marquee and then 'select all'. Lines and objects appear marked as required. I select my chosen ground floor wall and rotate it to the horizontal. Easy!

But.....only the ground floor items have moved. Is this the expected behaviour in a 2014 CAD programme, or have I misunderstood AC's instructions and mucked something up?

Check at View > Elements in 3d view.

Maybe you have filtered elements in 3d set up.

Or it could be a 3d cutting plane.

Don't select the elements on your ground floor within the marquee (as the visible items will be the only ones selected). Just invoke the Rotate command (CMD+E / CTRL+E) after placing your bold marquee.
